In this new membership based payment model for personal healthcare services called Direct Personal Care (DPC), patients are granted access not just preventative exams but also other essential tools that would otherwise cost them an arm and leg via traditional third party insurance coverage or out-of pocket payments with no guarantee as it pertains toward what’s covered under these plans besides high deductibles which can lead people into bankruptcy court if something happens requiring major surgery, etc.
